FMI is proud to provide Extrude Hone (www.extrudehone.com) Abrasive Flow Machine Services. Abrasive flow machining is a process which hydraulically forces an abrasive laden viscoelastic polymer over or through areas that require finishing. The process is very precise and capable of smoothing and polishing internal surfaces, producing and blending uniform radii and fine burr removal.
Typical applications include smoothing and polishing of gas or fluid distribution holes and passages.
